ill be going with a friend, and we are doing the fan prade lap! looks like its gonna be fun.

I wish I could....can't really afford it...

 

I'll be heading up and probably with a few people in tow. I won't be doing the One (1) $25 escorted parade lap

 

aww i thought it would be pretty sick to have a bunch of RX-7's on the track for the parade lap, seeing as theres a 3rotor in the race
either way it should be sweet to watch!
do you know if they require a helmet for the parade lap? i havent got my conformation email back yet...

 

yeah, but people'd be running out of gas and overheating all over the place....

 

In years past helmets have not been required. You won't be moving that fast. Trust me

 

ahh but not i! since i got my koyo, i have been in cooling heaven ever since <3 its a beautiful thing...

i'm down for the parade lap as long as i get the fd rollin'.

 

I'll be going with a few friends. $45 really isn't a lot of money...come on. I'd enter my car in the parade lap, but it'd probably explode.

 

i'm not worried about my car blowing up. i'll be installing the go-go gadget suction cup next week so if it does, i'll just hitch a ride from whoever's in front of me

 

hmmm this is the very reason i carry my fix-a-rotary kit in my car...my friends cars are constantly exploding at the most inopportune times!

shoelace
fix-a-flat
block sealer
more block sealer (because you didn't learn your lesson the first time)
oil
premix oil
cellphone with every towing company in socal preprogrammed
bandaids and antibiotic

 

maybe we can designate a time to meet shortly before the event...

 

I'll be there too. I'm still deciding if i should do a parade lap, but i'm definetly gonna make it saturday to the main race, not sure on sunday though.

Sunday is main event. Prototypes.. 3-Rotor, Aston Martin, Corvette works team, and Porsche. You can't miss sunday man..

 

hmm you forgot the 3 things you can build a car with: ductape, zipties, and hose clamps!!

 

no hose clamps, thank you. that's what the block sealer is for

 

ugh one of the motors i took apart last week was FILLED with that ****-the coolant passages were superblocked...needless to say, it died of overheating

 

that's because they probably used that k&w garbage...

use ceramic sealer people!!!
