i got a little naughty in the fd. 10 psi = good. i can't wait to feel 25 with the high compression!!

 

OMG!!
I drove my buddies FD this last weekend.
It has a downpipe, midpipe, well full exhaust I guess.
And dual blitz intkaes.......Damn.
At about 5k that things already hitting 14psi...
I didn't even want to take it any higher...Don't feel like being responsible for a blown motor that's not mine!!!
LOL

Man it's not the fastest thing on the planet but it feels like a rocket on boost, it just pins you back inthe seat...
I wasn't even full throttle on the damn thing.
I think it needs a ECU reflash though......there's no A/F gauge so who knows but it's probably leaning out.....

I want my FC to handle like a FD dammit!!!

i went in to help jim catch up on some orders today (the hightempsilicone.com guy)

i swapped out those 2 blue couplers i had for some black ones. so he just gave them to me. does that mean that i'm technically sponsored now?

ooooow aahhhhh... wax is good!

 

Wax???
Use rubbing compound to remove the oil was and dirt,
then use wax cleaner to make it smooth and shiny.

Use Castrol engine cleaner mixed with car soap for washing.

 

My way for my cars is

-Dishwasher soap- completely removes all the dirt, grease, grime from the body

-Then i clay bar it (Pain in the but but the results are just amazing)

-Then wax it

Clay bar completley removes and overspray, light scratches, and absolutely everything and brings it to clear coat, then you add your wax, maybe a 3 stage system like mothers and it'll shine a nice time just use car soap that doesn't remove wax.

 

i should do the claybar thing.

I'm going to do it in the morning tommorow on the beater just because i want to make it look ok, come over and we'll do it- i have the bar and the bar spray and we can split the 3 stage wax. Are you aim foo?

Kick *** cleaner for your paint....Makes the paint smooth as hell. Pulls all the **** outta your clearcoat/paint. You think wax makes your car smooth...just try claybar

Go buy some, it's like 15 bucks and easy to do. Meguires > all ...but other companys do make it...I just go Meguires all the time
