It was kinda frightening to see felipe's crash. I do hope he'll be ok. Still rooting for vettel/red bull here.

f1 is the only motorsport i watch now. You get into F1 and all other motorsports start to look like crap.
My fta sat is down so no more speed tv, luckily they showed the last 4 races on fox 11.

They say Massa is doing alot better, but they are still unknown about the condition of his left eye, took some damage http://f1.gpupdate.net/en/news/2009/...day-afternoon/

Ferrari may have to fill his seat for the rest of the season, alot of people think they might call Schumacher to do it, but Ferrari has 2 reserve test drivers who may do it. Would be nuts though if they pull schumi to fit in

btw: 1991 Jordan 191 -perhaps the best looking grand prix car ever despite it wasnt too successful

Mika Hakkinen and Micheal Schumacher where battling it out..

I'll have to disagree because I think rally is awesome and take a whole different kind of skill which some f1 drivers will never posses. That being said, I like both.

Well im a big fan but miss this race and hopes he makes it back. But F1 isn't the only thing that i love, the rolex series, koni series, Le Mans is where its at, Fia GT, Super GT, WRC, Indy (when it really doesn't require left turns only lol), hell anything that uses driver and engineering skill. also you should watch some of the grass roots stuff.

For some reason my satalite didn't record the last F1 race but it did get partice and qualifying.

I love rally in fact I'm going to X games 15 and watching rally in person is super exciting, Austin I think you can keep up with every Rally America event on youtube or go to rally-america.com I have the 2007 season on DVD all the rally's were on ESPN2 not sure if they still are now.

I'm so glad Mosley isn't around anymore.

Makes it easier for the teams to stay together.

I always laughed at fools who would whoop and holler at the TV over ball games, pour over player stats, and follow even the most inane news details. Then I got seriously into F1...

They said,

"The decision is a result "of the new strategic direction of our business", said BMW chairman and CEO Norbert Reithofer.

"Resources freed up as a result are to be dedicated to the development of new drive technologies and projects in the field of sustainability," the statement said."

^^^ LOL, it's because they were supposed to be challenging for the championship as per BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissens' business plan. It possibly could have happened if the rule hadn't changed for this year.

Massa's eye is looking fine...Curious to see if he comes back this season.

F1, ALMS, LMS, Indy, Grand Am. to me, ALMS has so much more appeal over Grand Am simply due to having more technical freedom. I'd be surprised if BMW doesn't make a concerted effort to dominate LMS.

Yeah but 3 or 4 cars in each prototype class doesn't make much of a race. Once one car breaks everyone else is guaranteed a podium. I think ALMS will be lucky to have the same number of cars next season. The technical freedom is very, very expensive. Didn't Acura say they're gonna pul outta P1 and P2 if no more cars show up? My biggest draw is the Dyson Mazdas in P2 and the 2 BMW's in GT2.

Grand-am Rolex, now theres a race I plan my weekend around to watch live. With four Rx8's and possibly more to come. Too bad Yellow Dragon Motorsports didn't field their 8 this year and Sahlen's is looking at switching from Corvette to Rx8.

If only road racing would return to California Speedway!

I agree with you, DriveFast. What i should have mentioned initially is that HISTORICALLY, ALMS has grabbed my attention. Right now, it's not the most exciting to watch as we're in a recession. In general, to me, it is a better form of racing than Grand Am as you're given the opportunity to immerse yourself into the technology, whereas in Grand Am, it's there but only to a certain extent. I'm also a bit bias as I used to work in the series! LOL!

Now that's not to say I wouldn't head out there to a Grand Am race at Fontana and not enjoy it.

Oh, and your battery box kit worked out perfectly!

Massa's got the lap record for the Spain circuit too. Schumacher's gonna come back to take his place and then beat his time. How ironic if that happens.
