Thumbs up 3rd gen FD3s On the Road 2 Recovery

Yeah that's what i said call it crazy but after my lil bro and myself finish our second gen project to dayview in a couple of months this third gen we got for free from out commander from work will be out next project. Full drag car on a fiber glass one piece front end nine inch PP 13 on the bottle. I lil faith, patience, holy water, a two volume bible, and a bottle of captain morgan is going to get this car done.

looks like a friggin waste of time to me.

just build a tube chassis and lay a FG molded body onto it, much easier than trying to salvage a piece of ****.

i'm not hating though, just saying "put a fork in it, 'cause it's done.."

Yeah that what were going to do were just using the frame and throwing away the body. Fiberglass bods from P.R. run about 2500-3500 bucks I think not sure from the last time i checked. But on the real doesn't having love for the rotary count for bringing this car back from the dead.

If anyone is interested there was a street ported motor in it with front mount ported turbo's PFC fuel injectors and a whole boat load of other ****. The owner who gave me the car is selling the motor with all ic piping, intercooler, motor, everything on the motor as a package if your interested let me know i will check the price I know it was pretty low price to

Man.. about 90% of that body is gone as well as the chassis.

I wouldn't waste any money or effort man, but it's your decision and your project. Good luck!

There is no way there is no frame damage on that thing. I bought mine crashed in the front right corner and he crashed at around 35mph and there was a little frame damage, hate to say it but that thing is toast and for what it would cost you to fix everything and buy new parts and what not you could pick up a shell not crashed, sell the body parts you dont need and still come out on top. Just my opinion, your heart is in the right place but your head has shot off your shoulders.

thanks for the support manny,
this project won't go into effect until our second gen is don't up and running. we got quote from the mazda recycling yard 300 bucks for a room with the legs about 300-400 for the quarter panel. But were still going with the fibergalss bod cheaper and quicker. But were not sure yet.

Are those stock rims? How's their condition? Any crack?

If there are scuffs/scratches on them, I don't care.

The project wasn't going to get started no time soon, so we decided to part it out and make money off of it and use the money to build are current projects that are almost done. Turbo rx2 and turbo fc both drag

I have mad love for the rotary, but even I know you can't polish a turd. I'd take everything that was worth anything on there and put it towards a project that didn't look like the world fell on it.

Believe me I already found a fiberglass body for this car. We may still purchase it for the car after everything is stripped from it

Again all parts are on sale on ebay thanks again
