Looks like we got a lil momentum for PCH.....I really dont care but the brakes on my car do...lol lets just do somthing fellas im in either way

 

well im not sure how far hwy 2 is open passed mt high....but i do know its open to get to mt high which is on hwy 2 but on the other end where the 138 and 15 is..... look up the directions to mt high ski resort on google maps and it will show you... i just went up to mt high last sunday.... so im sure its open from that end...

i know a back way to get there once we exit the 15... only the locals know of it...and its a pretty cool drive on a 2lane hwy with not that many turns but a few and like i said there is a big huge parking lot we can just chill and tail gate.....

anyone down for mt high then??? ill bring my bbq and cook up some meat just bring other things to share =]

 

Mt. High is WAY too far from the majority of us... It is a great Idea but I think we should stick to something a bit closer...

A lot of us are from the valley so the beach or a canyon run would be within a 20-30 min drive for most.


Lets just put it out there guys... if you prefer PCH then beach say so! If not, say Canyon Cruise... both are great ideas and I think everyone just wants to hang out and chill anyway...

 

yeahh...what mr. G said. Theres no way in hell ill drive my car up to Mt. High! Thats almost a full tank of gas for me

Sand Canyon is where the 118 $ the 210 fwys meet. 10 min from Pasadena (original meeting area) there is a very nice half way mark and cool scenery.

I took ol yeller there last year with the datsun boys. angelescrsest all the way up to Mt. High, I was running on fumes almost dindnt make to the gas station. Never again my car is poor on has millage.

 

^ Yep, my car is poor on gas mileage too, esp since it's not tuned right now.

it has been over 15 years since I last drove @ Lil Tujunga route so I will be in back of the line. im no longer familiar with the road and twists

Well I say onl to the half way mark of that road since the rest isnt as exciting.
Like you ever have problems finding one...
Damn Mel its definitely time to get re-acquainted with that road
