Sand canyon as in near Bakersfield or OC. If it's north of the 58 it hella far for my back to take.

 

Sand Canyon is where the 118 $ the 210 fwys meet. 10 min from Pasadena (original meeting area) there is a very nice half way mark and cool scenery.

Its all good we gonna make it happen either way.....

 

we can always go up the other way on hwy 2.... baicaly going up tp mt high in wrightwood.... 210 E to the 15 N to the 138 and then hwy 2.... there is a short little canyon run and then we can just park in the east resort (big parking lot) chill eat tailgate and what not... and if you board then the west resort is also open for snowboarders and skiers from 8:30am to 4:00pm.....

i was really dissapointed when i went that night too... my cousin let me borrow his car and i wanted to cruise down my favorite highway!!! poor m5 didnt get to see angeles :'(

 

sorry for double post... but are you 100% sure thats open? any road that connects to angeles crest is closed. i tried every possible way to get to highway two, even from sunvalley/tujunga a officer was blocking that route and even traffic stopped me just because i was driving a fancy car ... jerks

 

hmmm...thanksgiving weekend???? out of town maybe? if not I will definitely go.

 

what a lame excuse, pechanga is not out town. you can always gamble the next day.

 

im down for both. never did the sand canyon drive, however if we do the pch drive can i vote we go south towards Diego maybe hop in the 5 and have lunch down there.. just a thought

im down for a beach run actually, i don't have many good memories of canyon cruises . But i'll still go on a canyon cruise if it turns out to be one.
