1st gen experts in Ventura County - carb tuning?

Can anyone give me a lending hand on fixing an issues with a 1st gen in the Ventura County area? My friend's car is in Thousand Oaks.

I am not a carb tuning person. He took his air pump off of his 12A 1st gen and after about 7,000 miles. His car is running super rich. I was told he has damaged his carb jets and they need to be retuned.

As of now, his car misses horribly. He has changed his spark plugs, Wires, and distributor cap/rotor. His oil smells like fuel.

I am going to take a crack at it on Thanksgiving Day. Any help is appreciated. THANKS!
