7. Head back out along the "panoramic" North to "Stinson Beach"
-4:30 Till everyone decides to part. This is a fantastic location again for pictures
and just a really fun location to be.
8. We all head home (take highway 1 "shoreline" back to Marin and from there
everyone should be able to get home.)

Here are pictures from the last time I did this it is a blast. Yes it makes for a very long day, but oh what a blast it is!

Yes sorry was on my motorcycle last time, but this will be Mazda anything leaning on Rotary.

^Link for the Website to Muir Woods.
I will be doing this on that date no matter what with my girlfriend anyone is allowed to tag along as this is anywhere in northern California really haha. If you have any suggestions please send me a P.M.

If I see huge interest I may be assembling a phone tree to help this be as fluid and comfortable as possible. For those coming back to sacramento we usually stop at applebee's or wherever looks good when we get super hungry.

Everyone also take in mind that all speed limits will be followed and for "Panoramic" two groups will be made for those who like to go fast and those that just want to enjoy the ride.

Oh also if anyone is part of the Mazda 3 club I would have no problem having any mazda people tag along as long as everyone is respectful and safe.

Great! Waiting for all the sacramento folk to chime in. Everyone said a ride would be great and sunday would be greatest. Here it is with plenty of time to plan for it and get your ride ready.

Well, a 2.5 hour drive is quite a long drive...

I calculated it to roughly be about 124 miles but thats at minimum as I did not add the vallejo location.

Im from elk grove so it'll be another 2.5 hour drive back so another roughly 124 miles.

I drive a modified FC Turbo that on a good day gets about 15mpg highway...

I can barely make the drive to monterey from elk grove without going insane haha. Worn T2 seats are not comfortable at all for a long distance drive.

Anyways, that's why im not able to go.

So hop on the train in sacramento and hop back off at the valejo rest area? I mean *shrugs* rx8 doesn't exactly get great gas millage either haha, but maybe turn down the boost for the day?
As well we will be stopping for 30 minute breaks so the seat shouldn't kill you all that much.

FC_DRFTR1
Where are you hopping on at?

15 mpg while out of boost... 13-14.8 A/F ratio
Like 8 mpg in boost haha, 10.5 - 11.3 A/F ratio in boost.

I have to work now though anyways.

Don't have anyway to tune it yet.
It's just my walbro 255 pump wired to constant 12v until I can get my Rtek 1.8 ECU for temporary. I'll be buying a Power FC here in the next few months and get rid of the pos AFM.
I was going to use a S-AFC until I really started researching them and how they work, i'll never ever use a S-AFC or any similar piggyback on my cars.

I had ordered 4x 750cc injectors as well, but even with the part number straight from RC engineering the company I bought them from still screwed it up and sent honda injectors...

Hopefully I get the correct one's by next week as well as a FPR so I can turn the rail pressure back down to 32 or so PSI at idle, im sure it's about ~44 right now as my idle a/f is between 11.8-12.8 with the variable resistor set to full lean haha.

Basic list of what needs to be done so far, all parts in stock to do so just not enough time-

4 point roll bar
FMIC
Fab a new intake pipe with its own sealed filter box
Relocate the battery
E-fan
EGT kit
Aeromotive FPR and make it a parallel fuel system
the list just goes on and on....

If I can get all of that done in the next month I will go, but there's no way that stuff will get done in even the next 2-3 months.

No if you would like to come in something else for whatever reason you are more than welcome to. Just be respectful.

Also It's only 200 miles round trip. At crappy gas mileage we are talking $30 in gas $10-15 for lunch $10-15 for dinner. Some of you spend more on a night at the bar.

I see only a select few are manning up, just so everyone knows I WILL be doing this no matter what so if you decide last minute you will see me following this guide just meet me up wherever at the time.

You guys are killing me. "oh me oh my, I can't go I'm getting my nails done" Everyone said they wanted to do a drive, I plan it out, give you two months and everyones a no go. Someones gotta have the want to go on a drive as apposed to stairing at their poor car melting in their garage.
F$ck this boring parking lot crap. I'm going back to motorcycles after this run.
Man up someone and go for a drive.

Haha, i'll go if you fund my engine rebuild for the FC
I blew it the other day while messing around ( not doritoing ).
Instead of putting more money into the FC, I decided to part it out to fund my 240Z project... ( 1972-1974 240Z with triple side draft carb's )

Hopefully more people will chime in to go on the run though
