I am not sugesting that is what happend, I am just stating facts.

Just wanted to thank everyone that came out to the services and all of you who bought decals. Dave's mom and the rest of his family was very happy to see all of us there.

yeah, it was definenlty not how i would have liked to have met people... but i did get to meet alot of really cool forum members, plus all of daves family!

for those who didnt get to attend the funeral... daves mother gave her greatest appriciation and love to all of us in the community for everyones kind words, and donations!

its almost humerous how much daves family knew he was into rx's..... every speech someone gave, there was always rotaries being brought up, and his closeness to us..... i think daves would have really liked that! most services dont really get into the true essence of a person.. they only speak of what the deceased's immediate family saw... but daves family spoke of our true dave... and i really appriciated that!

also, for those who dont know... dave was cremated on friday... and his brother told me that when he saw him, dave really looked like dave, he said that besides a broken leg, dave only hade bruises..... that made me feel better, so i figured it might help others as well, thats why i wanted to share that

It's a real testament to Dave that so many people showed up, and that you guys were able to raise not only a lot of money for Dave, but over $400 for Tamara too. I bet Dave never would've realized the impact he's had on us all.

His mom told me the same thing. She said that he had that smirk he always had on his face too. To be honest I thought that we were going to see him for a last time in the casket and go to the cemetary n stuff. I would have loved to see him again but the way the services were held was much less painful. All of the great stories about him were great. Some were sad, some were funny but they all showed how great of a guy he really was. He lived a great life where he helped everyone in need. You could probably say he was a hairier mother Teresa

I didnt get to meet everyone that showed up but my brother (Turbo2FC3S) and I will be at the car wash and at the drive. See you guys there!

here's a preview of the decals for those who haven't seen them yet.
Awsome. Not clear where these will look best on my vert. Dave did the work. So, I always thought there should be *some* mark/branding. Though I never imagined that it would be "in-memory-of". F@@k guys. I'm really sorry.

So where *might* a decal (or 2) go well? Maybe somewhere in the engine bay and then someplace subtle inside?

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted you to all know that Dave's Dad and I are overwhelmed with your kindness to our family. The way you supported our family in our darkest hour was so touching and it will never be forgotten.

My son always knew how to pick good friends. Thank you for being his friends and for having fun times with him. We as a family feel so blessed to have had him in our lives as long as we did. Thank you for sharing all the nice things he did. I know that even though David is not with us here on Earth anymore that he will continue to live through those uf us who keep his memory alive.

I felt that I should ask all of you if you mind if we (my husband and I go on the memorial ride on Saturday.) We don't have a rx7 or 8 BUT....we have a motorcycle and a Mazda Protoge( I know it's laughable).

Thank you again to all of you. You helped make David's life memorable.

Love,
Daves Mom
