I hope this is ok for me to do
I just wanted to give each and every one of you a heart felt thank you. David is my nephew. I am so taken back by all the love that I have seen shared on your site for David. Many of you (I can tell by what you posted) knew him and knew his heart well.
I just hope you all know how important this club and its members were to David. You had touched his life in a way he will always remember you....and now...you have touched his family's life in the same manner. All your prayers and well wishes filled our hearts and help to dry our tears. Thank you for sharing...thank you for doing and being who you are...and I mean this both as a club and as individuals.
My sister Sandy was so very excited to send me this thread to read. Each one of you have a big part in our family's healing. May God bless you and keep you all safe.

omg, this makes me so sad. i havent been on the boards much as of late, but checking out some of the silly guitarjunkie comebacks (along with belligerents) was a forward moment in the westside forums.
rest on dave. wish i had some, inapproriate smart-****, leg-humping comment to put in but it doesnt seem right

Well ****........
Goodbye Dave, I'll miss our AIM conversations (although it's been forever since the last one).
I really would've enjoyed getting to shoot the **** with him in person. Hope he's in a place with Canyon roads all over, every car he ever wanted and no police.......and 48 virgins.

I don't know that I ever talked directly with Dave, but I certainly recognize his screen name. I had no idea the character he had. From reading every post in this thread, I know the community lost a good person.
Even though I sold my FD over a year ago, I still come here because of many of the people on these boards. It's great to see the donations made to both families.
RIP, Dave.

The first picture he would have been driving AWAY from the camera.
Also, just so everyone knows, Daves mom said that he WAS wearing his seat belt. they had to cut it off of him. he was also bruised accross his stomach.
The last 2 are just so you can see what the decal looks like on my RX-8.

alright guys, for those of u that didn't go to the funeral, i stayed up last nite and made a rotorman decal so if u guys want one or more just show up to the memorial run or the car wash. also, i would like to know how many more people are interested in buying/donating for the decals so i can get an idea of how many to make. let me know how many u want and what color (white or silver) and also if u want a D.S. decal or Rotorman, or both!
here's a preview of the decals for those who haven't seen them yet.
