You can definitely put me on an interest list for the next GB if you're going to have one.

I bought some used lights from California, and the black portion of the taillight is a little faded/purple, do you polish that back to black as part of this conversion?

I've added you and anyone else who has PMed me to the list we're up to about 24 for the next round Tom will not be offering polishing services for the taillights, but you can easily get rid of that fade with a headlight restoration kit or something similar. I know Jhnrx7 restored a set of tails recently, maybe I can get him to post how he did it.

Not sure who you sent an email to, but I didn't see anything in our inbox. We are not taking deposits yet for the next round. I'll find your deposit and refund it for now. PM sent

Can you please also post the status of the lights (received, not received, shipped, etc?), the next time you get the chance? I figure it'd be easier than answering individual emails/PMs.

Thanks.

Hi guys.

Alright so it's going well. A tiny bit behind schedule but I'm going to try to catch up between today and tomorrow. Out of the lights that I've gotten so far, some are 100% and getting shipped back today, some are pretty far along and I'm going to finish up asap.

Please remember that we said up front that the schedule will have to be FLEXIBLE. I'm doing these all by myself and they are very labor intensive!
I even spent half the weekend working on tails. Oh and I recruited my girlfriend to help with some of the prep work.

I've gotten a lot of PMs over the past couple days from people wanting to check in on the status. Please don't do this unless there is some sort of problem - otherwise my PM box is gonna fill up fast.

Dan or I will post more info tonight, along with a list of the lights that have been received.

Oh and BTW the lights are looking AWESOME! I have a factory tail harness here so I'm testing every set of lights before they go out.

Hi Dan,

Not sure how you got that I owe 18.46.

I've paid you twice already - remember you contacted me and asked me to deposit some more because PayPal took too much of a cut from my first transaction. I paid some more, then I was PM'd saying that the extra would be deducted from the extra return shipping to NZ you'd be charging me.

My first payment was $412 USD
Second was $12 USD

I'm only aiming to pay $400 at this stage... maybe you've got me down for $425 because I've stated I've got JDM lights in the list above.

I'll be sending you my Authentic 99 lights. Maybe that makes the difference?

Thanks

Ah bugger, I think I had you marked down as unmodified tails. Consider yourself paid in full then

Yeah unfortunately FedEx didn't pickup when they were scheduled to and there isn't a drop off place anywhere near me. I called and bitched someone out and they said there would definitely be a truck picking up tomorrow.

As soon as me and my FD are reunited next week life will be so much easier.

Also, regarding that subject...AN IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Unfortunately we're going to have to shift the schedule a little bit. I will be finished converting lights for everyone in Week 1 & 2 (the first 8 people) by this weekend, however starting with slots #9 onward the schedule is getting shifted back by 1 week.

I hate to do this to you guys but I'm going to FL next week to visit family, pick up my FD, and drive back up. The trip wasn't confirmed until just recently, and that is why I said up front that the conversion schedule would be subject to change.

I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause for anyone. This should be the only major change in the schedule.

So the people in slots 1-8 are not affected. Staring with slot #9 onward, please note that we are changing your conversion date by 1 week.

Here is the revised schedule:

Week 1 (Slots #1-4):
Finishing now (starting to send back)
Week 2 (Slots #5-8): Working on this week (will send back before I leave for FL this weekend)
Week 3: OUT OF TOWN, NO CONVERSIONS
Week 4 (Slots #9-12): June 21-25
Week 5 (Slots #13-16): June 28-July 2
Week 6 (Slots #17-20): July 5-9
Week 7 (Slots #21-24): July 12-16
Week 8 (Slots #25-28): July 19-23
Week 9 (Slots #29-32): July 26-30
Week 10 (Slots #33-35): Aug 2-6

Once I get back from FL, if I can get the lights done fast enough I will start shifting the schedule forward. It would be nice to get all 35 conversions done before Aug...

Dan will also email everyone about this change for those that don't see the thread.

Thanks to everyone for participating in this GB. So far the lights are coming out GREAT and I know you are all eager to get your lights converted so thank you for your patience.
