reading comprehension>you

they said from the time they closed the first GB that they would take down the names of people interested in the second run and let them know when and if the 2nd run was happening.

I kinda hope it doesn't happen.

If another group buy doesnt happen (and with the slowing progress it seems less and less likely one will happen?) it would be fantastic if a vendor stepped up to start selling kits for us to do them our self or maybe even if we had the source of the raw parts that are being ordered to do this <hint>

I doubt that's going to happen. Thats the reason why Theorie mentioned at the begining saying that he wanted this to be a limited production so it keeps its value and for those who own it feels special =).

Another thing is, it is all about business. No way they will give out the detail on how to producing these lights and where to find the sources for the light itself. If so, then all their effort would've gone to waste.

More likely its so people can sell them for twice what they paid.

If he doesn't want to make more thats something I can respect, it's his time and effort.

I have to say though if people want to feel special they should buy self help books or a self-affirmation mirror.

hahaha

Seriously want these bad, it would make better business sense to sell the parts and a writeup to do it yourself if they don't want to make them themselves.

Still holding out, please keep producing them, they look absolutely amazing.

just wanted to update you guys.

i had found a place to mass-produce the internal LED unit aluminum housing pieces, and the guy sent me the first batch...but **** - he got them wrong. something happened when he converted my file to the type of file his CNC machine uses. he said he's going to fix it and rush me a new batch. sorry for the hold up. i've been waiting on these pieces so it really sucks that the ones he sent are off.

going to hand-produce the parts (as i have been) until this guy can get me the correctly-sized CNC-cut pieces i needed.

Is there a difference in quality compared to the hand made ones and the CNC machined ones?

there should be no noticeable difference in quality or design.
