Maybe I missed it somewhere in the thread, but when are these shipping? =)

 

After the parts are ordered and they are built. We are estimating a couple months between the close of the GB and shipping them out. But we are still waiting on a good number of people to finish submitting payments so we can finalize the GB. We have also begun pre-ordering some parts such as the housings which have already arrived

Speaking of, anyone on the list who I have not heard from will be recieving a PM reminder today... we need to finish up this stage.

Yes we can supply the kits with higher kelvin bulbs if anyone would like. The reason that we do not officially offer this is because of the performance penalty that the "tinted" bulbs suffer. There is typically a 8-15% drop in light output for the higher kelvin rating bulbs. The lower kelvin bulbs are also better for your night vision (the bluer the light frequency the more your night vision is affected... hence the red/amber interior lighting in aircraft cockpits, and our cars ). But to answer your question, yes we can ship them with higher kelvin bulbs if requested.
