Hey,

If the lights haven't been shipped yet then I'm willing to sell my spot to someone. This is a #3 spot for the RHD lights!

check your emails boys, this current batch is out, we have one more small batch that is nearly complete which will ship shortly. If you did not receive an email with a tracking number your lights should be shipping with the next batch which we hope to have finished in the next week and a half. Thanks to everyone for their extended patience... we hope the next GB will run quicker. -Heath

I should correct myself from earlier... you won't receive an email for international orders till tomorrow as the customs forms/checklists take some time to fill out. I'll have to finish those tomorrow morning before shipping.

I'll be able to get a list up of the lights which have shipped already, sometime tomorrow. I also have a few missing addresses, as well as a few un-paid deposits... anyone in that boat your lights will ship with the next small batch being built hopefully within the next week. I'll have Dan contact anyone with missing info/payments shortly.

Thanks everyone!

Got my set yesterday Finished installing today I don't think you guys need to paint it silver, after it's installed no one can tell that the back was modified and even though the paint was dry. I rubbed a bit of it off.

It's nice that Fedex does Saturday drops for home deliveries and living within 1-2 day delivery time .

Read the instructions a few times before installing it.... helped a lot. Also helps to have a powertool (I have a 12v sawzall) with a fiberglass blade, makes cutting it a lot easier.

Longest part was trying to run the wiring and mounting the ballast, else it's pretty easy. I didn't have any of the 3M tape (I have some but I guess it's too old it doesn't stick as well) So everything is zip tied up, maybe pick up some mounts for the hid instead.... something about about 3M tape feels too permanent.

Extended some wiring, thank god you guys used the weatherpak stuff, I had a few connectors lying around, else I would have to splice it.

Fired right up, first try. At 12PM I could still see the light on reflected off a car. Can't way to aim it properly and drive it at night.

If anyone is in S.F and wants some help with the install PM me, i'll be more then glad to help. I can cut your headlight buckets within 2-3 mins

Paint on the back is just to make it look pretty... no matter what we do the silver seems to never dry quite right so we're transitioning to black for the next GB.

The heavy duty 3m mounting tape is quite permanent, that's why we recommend it. The foam tape also helps absorb vibrations which is an added benefit.

The wiring should not have to be extended as the ballasts and harnesses have enough length in the wires to fit if mounting the ballasts below the headlights on the side of the frame rail etc. It can be a tight fit, but there is definitely enough length to make it work as is. Yeah, we used weatherpacks on all the connectors in the kit .

We'd love to see some pics once they are aimed. Remember the aiming guide is rather conservative, and you can most likely get away with a little extra upward angle (depending on the height of your car).

Side shot

Front of car shot

Still needs some fine tuning, but here it's not even dark yet, but it's still very bright. Family member said it had "eyes" now.

The left and right headlight cutoff should be at the same level not stepped as you have it now I know you still have adjustments to do, but wanted to make sure you knew.

yeah basically, at 25 feet distance, the two cutoffs will "line up" with each other and overlap perfectly into one unified beam pattern

I've also found that the standard way to aim makes the beams too low. I usually adjust the lights up somewhat so I can see further down the road. As long as the cutoff isn't in the side mirrors of the car in front you should be ok. Obviously do this at your own risk and use your best judgement, but if you feel the lights aren't illuminating enough of the road try adjusting them up slightly.

I shipped every set I had from this batch... I just went down the payment log that Dan put together, anyone missing info, or missing a payment I skipped and asked him to message for current info. I'm away at a conference this week, but should finish up the current batch by the end of next week. Sorry for the mixup, I'm not sure why your address wasn't in there but there were a few people in the situation.
