Hi again
Answer received: the E-marking is enough to be road legal in Sweden.
Is it right to assume that the provided beams are 1 pcs low beam and 1 pcs high beam, per side?
Best regards
Goran

I believe that you are correct, 2 bulbs illuminated on Low, 4 illuminated for High.
I have not yet installed mine, but I assume that's how they will work. I also assume that you could install H3 bi-xeon dual beam lights Hi/Low and use the other opening for air intake or something similar if you would prefer.

Dito!
Then I should stick to only the frames with the fittings (nuts and bolts) and source the Bi-halogen lights elsewhere, to not complicate life for our manufacturer fd3s777.
LunchboxCritter: Are you sure you mean bi-xenon and not bi-halogen (with H7 bulbs for hi/low beams, Hella Art.nr.: 1AL 009 998 041)? The price difference is substantial in favor for the bi-halogen. In Sweden 200$ compared to 1000$.
fd3s777: Still missing info from you regarding supply?
Best regards
Goran

lol I'm sure my wording was incorrect, I'm not big on headlights.
I have seen some H3 dual Hi/Low beam HID lights for like $40.00 a set, and I've seen quality retro fit kits that you can do the labor yourself, and they are around $300.00 for a set.
Here are some links:
$38.00 set
http://www.hidnation.com/
$300 build a kit:
write up (for stock bulbs, but samething to mod the round lights, just a little different grinding of the housings)
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...light+retrofit
retrofit site the OP of the above thread recommends
http://theretrofitsource.com/

I doubt the seller is just avoiding the question, but more than likely did not take pictures along the way as the originals were installed and test fit.
This would mean a major pain to go back remove the front bumper, reinstall the factory flip ups to show how to remove them (this procedure should be covered in the FSM), then show pictures of how to drill a few holes in the covers to show you how to drill a hole?
I mean really is all of the negativity really called for? If you are incapable of figuring out how to install these lights then I would suggest you take them to a capable body shop and let them do it for you.

Putting on these lights is not that hard. If you can remove the stock light, then you have no problem putting on the lights. Basilcy it is 2 screws on top and 2 screw on the bottom front to the bumper. If you pull out the factory light bulb you will see the wiring for high and low beam. I'll tell you when you buy this kit direct from East bear, there is no instruction also.

You know what's a damned shame? That you are incapable of figuring out how to install the lights without a set of instructions.

Why don't you mind your own business? Better yet, why dont YOU post PICTURES of your setup, and help the seller?
Do your research before you go out calling people

The Big Ugly!
WTF? I can see instructions may be nice to have, but damn how hard could it be to install these lights? The "Buyer Beware" was indeed not needed. You say that his lights were not exactly the same, ok when doing most exterior mods this is common. Having a little common sense will help you a lot. Has anyone else had any issues with installing the lights?
#223
I don't even own these lights and I know how to install them. The most complicated part is removing your stock lights, which the FSM and Haynes manuals explain clearly. Instructions are unnecessary. If you're doing body work of any kind (which is arguably what this is) and are unsure of how to proceed, do yourself a favor and visit your local body shop where you can be sure the work is done properly.

Got to love the noobs
I paid for parts that shouldnt need any bodywork other than paint, I also bought parts from a VENDOR not my neighbor; and with that, I expect some sort of instructions, pictures, or guidance.
I have probably done more to my FC, than most of you will ever do to all of the vehicles that you will ever own. Body shop?, how about doing all of the body work, prep work, and paiting the car yourself? Yup, checked! Did a full na to turbo swap? Yup, checked! Rebuilded and ported the engine? Yup, checked! Installed a E6K from scratch? Yup, checked! etc, etc, etc
PLEASE noob one, spare me whatever you think is right, SPECIALLY if you haven't purchase anything from the seller. To those that are talking and actually puchase the kit, post pics rather posting about what you don't know.
As a customer, I have the rights to some sort of instructions, and if they are not available, say it so. There is no need to avoid and ignore multiple request, like if I wasn't a customer anymore, just because I paid for the items. See where I am getting to?

I do not have a problem with taking pictures when I get around to doing mine.
Noob Out!
