Howdy guys and gals, as a new forum vendor, it is a great opportunity to now show off the panels I have been designing. I am currently awaiting what I genuinely believe will be my best and final prototype. These will hopefully be for sale in late January to early February. I am looking to see who would be interested and what your thoughts are!

These panels are extremely thick and durable (still sit about .025" below the surface of the center console like the OEM panels) The clips are MUCH stronger than the thin and fragile OEM ones. The design will clip into the OEM holes and be removable just as the OEM panels are.

The potential models are:

1. Classic Cup Holder
2. Cup holder with two switches
3. Centered Cup holder
4. Blank panel
5. RX7 Panel
6. Switch blank

I will also be making the switch blank with custom sized holes upon request for switches! I can also make the blank panel have holes wherever desired upon request.

I have set up a pole to help get me some feedback on potential interest. (VOTE ABOVE^^^)

What's the difference between 4. Blank panel and 6. Switch blank ?

Not mentioned, but what I would really like is one with the power mirror switch AND a hole/space for the master (driver) power window switch.

 

Yes one is the whole panel the other is just a flush switch blank. The switch blanks will also be available pre-drilled in various sizes to hold switches. I may also be open to completely custom panels as well.

I epoxied the fog switch in because the hole was a bit small and then my clips broke.

Will come with some foam tape to put around the inside lip to prevent movement (this panel was a bit shorter on the lengths than it should have been. Even with the foam it is BARELY visible.

These are getting closer and closer to being completed. This will fund future prototypes and parts!

Fits like a glove when the foam tape is in place!

On this one I had epoxied it because I had a switch with broken tabs and the hole was a little over sized. If I cut it out I'm just not sure I would be able to get all the epoxy off.

Looks great! People always ask for a cup holder and I'm not sure to take them serious or not lol. Nice job stepping up to the plate, I'm sure you'll sell a few once it reaches more views. try posting in the Facebook groups.. a lot of lurkers there, not so much on the forums anymore..

 

Yeah I had like 80 some odd likes in the first 24 hours but because of how I was making them to be remotely profitable i have to charge a bit.

I think this really is a Fantastic idea, the worst part about early JDM cars is no cup holders!! I would definitely buy one, but my can needs to be road worthy first. Just thought you would want to hear input from a random. I think that $75-80 price range is right on, even for us "cheap" FC owners .

Bad news got my panels. They fit perfect space wise... The clips were oversized and broke. Wasted two good panels. Here is the fitment of overall size.
