August engine overhaul special

for the month of August i am offering a $100 discount on ALL engine rebuilds, i will have room to do about 4 engines through the month, those that i accept deposits on during august will still receive the discount.

i am also giving free 'coolant seal savers' with HP reusable coolant seals with all rebuilds from this point until further notice unless opted to not have them. you cannot request to have them given on the side, this is only with installation.

a deposit of $500 up front is required to discourage flakes.

https://www.rx7club.com/vendor-class...-977152/page2/

Pricing:

basic rebuild: (includes new oil control o-rings, atkins 2mm apex seals in non turbo engines/RA super seals in turbo engines, new OEM apex seal springs, new OEM 3rd gen corner seal springs, new side seal springs, new corner seal plugs, new coolant seals, new dowel pin o-rings, new tension bolt washers, new timing cover gasket, new oil pickup tube gasket, new front/rear main shaft seals and new front cover oil galley o-ring):

FB/SA/REPU
$1400(keep in mind rotor housings are basically nonexistent for the FB/SA anymore so a rebuild is contingent to the condition of your core engine, REPU can use standard 13B rotor housings but they will have enlarged exhaust ports over stock/housings must be modified for coolant seals at additional cost. some housings can be resurfaced.)

series 4
non turbo - $1450
turbo - $1500

series 5
non turbo - $1450
turbo - $1550

series 6
twin turbo - $1585

----addons----

portwork:

streetporting

series 4/5 non turbo - $250
series 4/5/6 turbo - $285
non turbo exhaust port "wing" removal - $45

half bridgeporting(secondaries)

series 4/5 non turbo - $375
series 4/5/6 turbo - $350

full bridgeporting(primary and secondary)

series 4/5 non turbo - $450
series 4/5/6 turbo - $425

peripheral porting

$varies, ask for an estimate

seal upgrades(these prices are ONLY in addition to basic rebuild costs, these are not to purchase seals and rotors individually from me)

2mm OEM seal upgrade $165
2mm Goopy performance seal upgrade $150
2mm RA super seal upgrade $60

3mm seal upgrades additional $400 for rotor milling for a 2 rotor engine, includes 3mm corner seals.

4 pin 13B engine pinning(dowel pinning)

all series - $375 (includes new pins and longer tension bolts)

iron face lapping

$70 per iron face, all series engines

rotor housing resurfacing

$125 per housing with blasting, or $90 per housing wear surface resurface only.

ANY hard parts failed inside your core engine will cost additional to replace on top of the basic pricing sheet. this is based on a rebuildable core engine, ie no blown rotors/housings, severely worn irons, bent e-shaft, etc. replacement parts price depends on availability, condition and costs if i have nothing matching in stock.

anything you don't see on the list? ask. these are just common basics, except for oil mods on a 2 rotor engine. if you want a match to help burn your money i will mail you one.

in addition basic and streetported engines carry a 1 year unlimited mile warranty. engines built beyond those stages or used for unintended purposes(ie turboing a non turbo engine or extensive modifications for high output) no longer carry a warranty and will be subject to discretion in warranty policy and a discount may be applied to repairs. turbo engines covered by warranty must show proof of fuel filter change w/new and injector servicing with data sheet or proof of purchase of proper sized injectors, 3rd party tuning is not covered by warranty.

the price list does not reflect the $100 discount by the way, it will be applied to the total. for example a basic rebuild of a 13B-REW with RA super seals is $1585, with the discount it would be $1485. (just copied it from my website, which sorely needs to be updated.)

shipping costs to and from are also not included in the price list and depends on location. shipping within the continental United States for example usually ranges from $100 to $250, the more stripped the block is and lighter/compact the crate the better.

blah blah, gotta have the fine print. even though i hate fine print..

if it's an S4 6 port block $375 for the core. if it's a series 5 i would need to find the rotating assembly first and the price would be a little steeper for the core.

best way to get a hold of me is to PM me here, or call the number on the contact page.

our hours are:

sun-thur 10-6pm pst
fri-sat 2-11pm pst

any calls or texts before or after those hours likely will be ignored, i do work 7 days a week and do need some personal time. if you call during that time and i can't pick up try a few times giving at least 15 minutes between each try, i may be running errands or working with noisy machinery. if i notice a missed call i will try to get back to you asap.

unfortunately the discount has expired but i am going to add additional services and products to the basic package on the website in the near future. it's been about a year since i updated it.

shipping to and from aruba is going to be a bit pricey, the $100 discount period is also about 14 months late. and yes i can build the engine with those parts.

if you're still interested you can send me a PM, i will be taking engine orders again in a few weeks.
