*NEW PRODUCT* FD RHD Tucked Clutch Line
Introducing the RHD Tucked Clutch Line. Our first product offering to RX7Club......This pairs very well with our RHD ABS Delete Kit. If your goal is cleanliness then this small piece of metal will help achieve that goal. The factory clutch hard line runs up along the top of the firewall with the ABS lines. With the delete of ABS you are left with this single and lonely line running behind the UIM. This line replaces the stock part and moves it to be above the transmission and as out of sight as it can be.
FIT: Tucking things is one of the most “free for all” parts of modifying cars. There's no one way to get something out of sight and the logic behind the move is always different based on the application. For this, we tried to think of a universal fit for majority of set ups. So long as there is a rotary in the car, this line should work. It hugs the firewall close enough that downpipes from single turbos, fuel lines, wire harnesses or whatever would be on top of the motor doesn’t interfere.
FORM: Since the goal is to make the line less visible, we went with a coated steel. The shine of stainless kind of defeats the purpose.
INSTALL: This one could have been tricky but sometimes simple things can be simple. Considering where the new joining point between hard and soft line is, it could be difficult to get 2 wrenches in there. Well, assembling them outside of the car makes for a very quick swap. Its also nice because if you haven't already swapped your soft line with a stainless one then you can do ahead and do that. Then it’s a simple bleed and your back on the road.
SERVICEABILITY: Although we don’t anticipate this line requiring any sort of upkeep, should it come down to replacing it or troubleshooting, its not installed in such a way that there is any dread that comes with it. Serviceability is a factor that we take into account with all our products.
The Line is priced at $45 shipped by itself. We are offering the hard line and a Goodridge stainless line package for 85$ shipped. We are offering 25 lines for this first run and have limited quantities of the Goodridge stainless line to pair with it.
