Yet another LS1 exhaust question...

I really liked the look of my Racing Beat turbo back when I had my T2. Can those mufflers be used with an LS1? I'm talking mufflers only, not any of the other RB exhaust system... I know I have to do custom work from the headers back to the mufflers.

I'm talking about these, although they seem a little pricey...

Should be no problem. I kept my Greddy catback on my FD. Just had to modify a pipe a little bit. that's what welders and chop saws are for.

I'm rockin' the N1 GT-Spec and it's quite amazing. Your RB cans should be A-OK.

As long as the pipe diameter meets up with the manifolds or the headers, why shouldnt it? The only conceiveable reason youd need to switch would be because there is a flow restriction coming out of your engine.

I just want to make sure it will sound ok and not be too loud. I figured since those mufflers are designed for a rotary, they might sound/perform differently with an LS1.

It'll be fine. My car was nice and quiet at idle, but wake it up with the go pedal and it would roar. My neighbors never gave me any funny looks or anything, if that means anything.
