Value of a LS1 FD?
Guys I may be purchasing a 94 6 Speed LS1 FD. It is a base model. It has a clean carfax and about 120k miles on the body and 10k miles on the conversion.
Interior and exterior are in nice shape and it has an electromotive ecu (if I remember the name right), 18" wheels, koni shocks, all new autometer gauges in stock gauge bezel, a double din radio and pretty clean overall.
What would you say this car is worth if all is sound?
What are some of the recently sold prices of these LS1 FDs?
Looking for your help on value.
This will be my 3d FD if it goes through, but the last one was 7 years ago

The most important things to look for is overall cleanliness of the swap. Check the wiring near the passenger's feet area, how does it look? Which subframe & swap kit were used (Samberg Parts typically pull a premium). Does the Speedometer and other gauges work correctly? How is the battery mounted and where is it located? These little things can be great indicators of overall how well the swap was performed and will help you better gauge it's value... don't get stuck with someone else's unsorted project.
