Personally I think it depends on overall build quality and chasis condition.

Disclaimer: This is my opinion

My buddy and I priced it out....
Using a new Full Samberg kit (mounting and radiator) and everything necessary should run about 6k for a stock setup.
Then, the price of a pullout -> say 4k.

This does not include any upgrades such as a clutch (which you should do!)
-> say $750 for a full kit including slave (upgraded)

A/C? -> that's about $600
Wiring? -> most people pay about $300 for someone else to do it.
Of course, there's labor (unless you do it all by yourself). Either way, that's about 11.5k for just the powertrain basics.

What does a roller run? 5k is lowball price for a decent chassis.

16.5k? no labor involved, no exhaust, no diff upgrade

Based on these numbers alone, I think most people will be able to come to their own conclusions.

I think it'd be easy to fetch 20k for a properly functioning swap.
30k would not be hard with proper modifications.
