V8 Rx8 conversion?
Anyone try to put a V8 in the Rx8. I like the looks of the Rx8 and think it would be a great conversion car with the LS1 or LS2. I know it would be extremely hard to find a Rx8 without a motor or bad motor.
Just curious if you could fit a LS1 or LS2 in it, I would think you could. Any thoughts?

That's awesome. hahahahahaha
I agree, though... ya gotta pay to play. My 7's my daily. Teehee

Does the Renesis get that kind of economy? How about the 13B?

Would the LS1 fit in the RX8 engine bay? It looks smaller than the FD bay for sure. It shouldn't be long before we start seeing junked RX8s in the yards due to the engines.

Pushrod Small Block V8s are, well, small. It probably will, but I dont have the dimensions available to me.
The biggest issue would be that the stock tranny cant hold the power, and necessitate dropping in the T-56 as well.
So, I guess it comes down to this: Chevy makes great drivetrains, and Mazda made great chassis years ago, lol!
