I'm trying to figure out if I have room for it with my 20b swap. I tried TorqueCentral and didn't see any photos of it from under the car.

Well for one how long is a 20B? The length of various v8 engines is known and not so hard to find, just compare the length of a 20B to the length of the v8.

Anyway, you most likely can, but the expenses will add up pretty quick

Unfortunately my situation is complicated by the fact that the motor was pushed 6.5" back into the firewall. The block is about 160mm longer than a 2 rotor. Most of the added length resides where the stock 2 rotor bell housing is located.

I really need to see some pictures to get a better sense of how much cutting I will have to do and where. Jim Lab posted a great shot of the FD and T56 box side by side. Now I would like to see a couple of the T56 mounted in the chassis. Hopefully based off that I can get a sense of whether it is further forward or back in relation to where the stock box in the stock car is located.

Any notion of value was left behind long long ago, so I am not too concerned .

Thanks.

Torque Central would probably be a great resource to request pics or find extant ones.

http://www.torquecentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=11 <- there you go.

Good luck with the project!

Thanks. This is what I was looking for. http://www.the-phil.com/viewtopic.php?id=47&imgsize=0 . With the torque arm it would be a pretty tight fit. What's the deal with that thing, is it comparable to the ppf/better/not as good? Has anybody tried adapting the ppf instead?

Here is the amount of space I have to work with as a starting point:

You could just bang on the tunnel dude... youre going 20B! Whats a little hammer work?

I dont know why they use a torque arm when its a IRS car myself, I didnt design it... I know Jimlab has an opinion on it like everything else, though. I think its something to do with lack of a proper tranny crossmember
