Twin Turboed 6.0L FC

well here is what I have started, kinda slow not getting married and working on the house but hopefully get some things done this winter. Its a LQ4 6.0 with twin precision SC61 turbos. I also narrowed a 9" rear end and 12" slicks.

Weird question, but was this car being built in a SpeedLube garage like 3 years ago? I talked to a guy who was building a twin turbo V8 FC drag car when I was on vacation in SD. Maybe just a coincidence.

That will be one hell of a ride.

I assume you have a forged bottom end? Hello 1000rwhp+ potential!

I have an Art Carr 8" 4000 stall (approx) convertor if you are interested. Works in either a TH350 or a glide (using same input shaft). Freshly rebuilt/restalled list price $1400.

What about throwing off the balance of the car and heritage/soul by pulling the rotary?

HAHA the other funny thing, I actually have a C4 ford trans that is built with a brake that I would like to bolt to the GM powerplant. I got an adaptor bell housting from JW and will just have to make an adaptor/spacer ring for the torque converter. I may endup with a 400 trans yet, but that wont be near odd enough. I've got Gm power, ford trans and rear end, and also Ford EDIS ignition with MSD box run by megaqsquirt, all in a mazda, maybe I should get some mopar parts too. Either way thanks for the coments guys and I will try to get some more pics up too.

Buncha questions for ya.

What internals are you using? O-ring'ed block? What heads are you using? L92's?

I've been putting together a list for a customer with a similar project for his 69 Camaro. The potential of those LQ4/9 blocks is pretty good.

I plan on running stock bottom end untill she blows. All Im doing is cam, not sure what yet, maybe stock vette, also Comp Cams 921 Valve springs and retainers. Its the LQ4 block so little less compression so Im leaving the heads alone for now. I hope to run 9's and be able to drive it on the street.
