Swap without stock harness?
First post here, sorry if this belongs in a different section
Recently bought a 88 rx7 convertible, it came as a rolling shell with no engine, trans, or wiring harnesses besides the chassis one (goes to the headlights). My plan for the car is to have fun building it, but keep it as budget friendly as possible since it's not a car I plan on keeping for years. I've done a ton of research and have been convinced that the cheapest/easiest swap option for me is a carbed SBC.
Because of the missing engine harnesses, there is no positive/negative terminals to connect a battery to. Anyone able to give me a suggestion on what I should do? Hoping there's an alternative to sourcing out some stock harnesses since I'll be using a different engine anyway...
Thanks
