Should I V8 the FC?

ha... I already think I should, just looking for some more votes. I have a very nice '88 T2 (my 3rd car). I did a large streetport, big turbo, ect. Didn't have fuel management and had 1000cc secondaries. Like a dumbass I ran it up to redline a few times just to see how it would run (running premix). Obviously, I misjudged what running so rich would do and I blew the rotary! At this point I'm about ready to do the LS1 swap, my only other option is to rebuild the rotary I just blew up. I have a hard time sinking more more money into something I just tried, but damn the braaap braaap idle was pretty damn cool. Somehow I think torque will change my mind. What would you do? I don't care about the 'roots' of the rx-7. I want a nice, fast, fun 3rd car

I say, whatever keeps a 7 on the road and out of the junkyard is THE correct way to go.

yes LS1 that poor thing.
hinson mounts w/ a '99+ LS1T56 on the cheap and go for it.
even the 5.3L truck LS1 motors are ****-tons of torquey fun.
