Do you have a fan clutch on the mechanical fan? Or just a standard flex fan w/ no clutch? I don’t even see enough room to use a clutch with the Ford engine.

This pic shows a bit better what I was trying to get with the real spoiler. more of a shark fin look from the side and rounded on top.

I'm in final assembly now. another 10-20 things to do, but their final adjustments and installation stuff. from there it take this bad boy to the exhaust shop for them to do it right, weld and hang.

Then drive the bugs out and either I spray it, or take it to a shop. The paint will be flat black, which is why I took doors off and all that stuff. It's a straight flat black easy spray job from here.

Will get a new front windshield as well. scratched it sanding and it has bubbles in it. it's just old and not very clear??

So a few updates. Interior is FINISHEd. will post pics soon, installed rear sway bar, been driving a bit. A lot more, but I'll get around to it.

made cold air instak boxes that will attach to the inner fender well plastic. The came out really well. this is before paint, and you can see the metal pieces. The ones to the right and left will be riveted to the fender well plastic. (one on each side of plastic as to not crack it) and the curved metal pieces will mount the front to the front lip.

I have been spending a LOT of time on this recently. soo, soo many little things....very time consuming, but I am almost there and on a mission at this point.

and yeah, those air boxes will obviously be painted before install.

Runs cooler now......did all this after adding condenser. Ie moved radiator forward up top. Made shrouds on front side. Sides, and bottom, removed old lower pan, electric fan inside, also put washer over thermostat to slow the water flow and runs cooler. I think the washer/limited flow (don’t go Gigi flow WP) combined with removing old lower pan and electric can mounted lower may have done the trick. That condenser really limits airflow and that bottom/stock pan keeps ALL the hear in the engine bay. Insulating under hood and finishing a/c is next.

Sitting a little to low in the back.....

drove for a good 90 minutes today. Gotta find the rubs and such... pretty sure it’s tire related. Also feel binding in the rear on slow corners. Gotta find where that sound is coming from.

the exhaust is up tight though😀

wouldnt know it’s a v8

That’s awesome to hear man - good job. I was doing some work on my car today and was reminded my cooling setup probably isn’t going to do it.

more work to keep me busy.
