Serious interest in 3rd gen. roller and ls1/t56

Ive been attempting to get going on this project for god knows how long and finally said screw it and decided to go for it. Ive done a fair amount of research, enough to get started at least, and all i need now is a chassis, engine and trans. If anyone has any knowledge of someone looking to sell the items im looking for i would appreciate it. ive already looked through all of the forums here as well as TC's but im hoping one of you will have a little better info.

I really intend to make this a project/restoration car and not just a situation where i buy the car and throw the components in. I really enjoy breaking it down and perfecting everything so the condition of the body panels on the chassis is not a huge factor just as long as it has a straight frame. paint does not matter either.

I realize they dont always go hand in hand and that this is a forum directed at rx-7s, but if anyone is interested in a Chevelle rebuild and would like to swap rx7 info for Chevelle info, id be happy to help!

here's my '70 396 SS

Thanks guys

I'm selling my LS1/FD if you are interested please let me know. The car will be complete as in the article below; however will have stock brakes, stock rims/sway bar, and Toyo RA1 R compound tires. No nitrous kit or Sparco seat either. Never have used nitrous on the car.

Here are the specs on the car that pulled 1.13g's on a 200' skidpad:

It needs paint and interior work. 20K miles on a rebuilt T56 with upgraded internals and 43K miles total on the engine. $22K obo

I'm building an LS7/FD next.

haha i read that article over and over when it came out. having a chance to purchase that car is an unreal opportunity but unfortunatly its not quite what im looking for. I really want to just a beat up car and do a full rebuild. it would be stupid and near sacreligious to do anything like that to that car. thanks for the post and opportunity, pretty sweet actually meetin the owner of that car! thx again
