Seeking conversion information

Hello guys, this is my first real post here. I have a '90 RX-7 aand am about to do a vee-eight conversion. Does anybody here have a vee-eight RX-7? I really tried to make my 12b powerplant more stout but it just wasn't up to the task. I just don't think a rotary engine is able to produce torque in any signifigant amount. Blown seals, then it wouldn't idle, etc. I finally just got tired of screwing around with the thing. Thank you for any and all information. This is a really cool board.

You have a 12B in your '90? Must have been the type-R edition.

or i thought it was a 12b. so i can't remember the engine for my RX-7. No big deal. It's not like it makes some big difference. And please don't bother replying if you're just going to waste my time.
