Wow... I wish I had $4,000 to buy this baby................ the hood's a bit ugly, but wow. Someone put ALOT of work in this car. I'd rather have the LS1 engine, but this would suffice if I had the cash on hand. What a ZIPPY little car!

buy a c4 vette if you want a 350, you will end up with a much nicer car overall at the end.

Yeah I saw that... I was like, "what an idiot." I wouldn't buy something from someone who knew nothing about the vehicle previously. Haha... not that knowing anything about RX-7's would help him since it's a piston engine.

 

I'm sure its fast and all, but why not just buy a Firebird?

I dunno, personally I think RX7s look like *** with cowl hoods. I also don't think it's very street legal with a "280 camshaft", and for the fact that it doesn't use EFI.

 

Not to mention that the FC wasn't really designed with straight line acceleration in mind. Like I said, just get a Firebird.

Yeah that is one clean FC. It makes me sad that it has a 350 chevy engine in it

 

I don't care for the hood. Engine bay is a bit cluttered/dirty considering how little wiring is needed for the setup. I do kinda like yellow on it, though I'm not typically a big fan of yellow FCs (I like 88IntegraLS's car also). Not a bad ride though.

 

That hood is queer. Otherwise its ok (I wish it had a wankel but not my deicision, just a preference).

 

you are right, the hood is pretty gay

even with a "not streetable" 280 cam, i bet it will still make more power than any 13B under 2000rpm

 

For the engine thats in there, I think the hood looks pretty neat, very unique to say the least. For 4grand I think its totally worth it.

Have you ever seen a C4 Vette for $4k? If you have, I want to know where. Because it's not going to be a running car for that price. Especially not one in nicer condition.



The seller is a used car dealership. You can't really expect them to know anything about cars in the first place, especially an RX7. They SHOULD, but most of them don't.

 

*Sniff* the auction ended... oh to have had $4,000............ so the hood is gay, but that's why I part the hood out to someone, and buy a better one and put a blower on it
