does anyone make a hood with a scoop down towards the front of the hood (in between the headlights) for fc's? has anyone tried to fab one? im curious to know if anyone has pics of a modded hood? the closet i have seen is on an fd in the v8 killa video direct freak hosted on these boards. anyone tried that hood on a 2nd gen? kinda looks like a viper scoop in the front with dual inverted vents over the top. not that i need the dual inverted vents but they do like kinda saucey. anyway pics and advice would be awesome.

A reputable body shop will modify a hood for you. There are plenty of good FC hoods out there as is, you could probably find one that will suit your needs well.

Here is a hood I am working on. I did have a mold of it and the person got a divorce and tha ex got it and smashed it. I am trying to find someone else now.

 

i like that hood a lot! perfect look for an LS1 swap. ****** bitch ex-wife, **** why are they aloud to do that kinda ****! of course im biased cause im going thru one. i wish you luck on your search. just curious, how did you get those scoops molded to a hood? what kinda shop could do that?

 

okay so i finally found a second gen with a scoop i am considering having molded onto the front of my hood or just a hood for my ls1 swapped rx7. granted i think the rest of the car in this pic is fugly i still like the hood concept. this scoop will be the direct inlet for cold air into the intake.

 

that is an absolutely hideous car....celica headlights...that is just yuck
