quite exhaust

Hey guys..

When I put my 8 motor in, I want to have a super quite exhaust...I want it to sound as quite as a stock Rx-7. Do you think thats possible? I know it might have to be restrictive, I don't really care.

I assume you are talking about a V8. Not sure what an "8" motor is.

I recently rode in Hyperion's car and it is ultra quiet. Amazingly quiet actually. He puts down around 425rwhp.

If you are making under 400hp run dual 2.5" into a 3" "Y" that enters a round free flowing muffler/resonator under the rear bin area... then run single 3" piping (mandrel bent) to another muffler out back at the rear bumper of the car. That will be nice and quiet.

If you are making more than 400hp (flywheel) run dual 3" into a 3.5" "Y" and then 3.5" muffler/resonator..... and then 3" out the back to another muffler. This is what Hyperion is running. Very very stealth.

The key to making a v8 sound not like a v8 is to not have dual exaust. Atleast thats the first and biggest step.
