Umm, no there isn't a better forum for the remark I made and I apologize if the transcamaro wisecrack was a little too close to home for you. V8 in an rx7 = ruined rx7. Conversely I'm sure the members of the Corvette forums would feel the same about putting a 13B in a C5 Corvette.

 

Have you ever seen/taken a ride in/driven a v8 rx7? Doesn't sound like it. While I would respect your opinion to not like the conversion, you would not be so harshly negative if you had actually experienced one.

 

Of course they'd think it was a bad idea. They'd lose horsepower, cut their gas mileage in half, and make their cars sound like ***.

 

Is it your car, are you spending the $$$, are you ever going to drive it? = No. Then why do you care?

Hey!! I know that car Maybe I should update my "V8 twin turbo" thread. I seem to have a very short attention span cause I stopped working on the engine again.

 

Not to mention they will need to have another 13B motor in the "fridge" for the 20,000 mile "service". The add engine service!
