pics and vids:

but they put me in class A by accident (that was my class last year), so i really came in 4th in class U. the GT3 in 1st and 2nd has $20k in aftermarket suspension mods. sick sick car with v710's and great driver.

my ABS wasn't working so that really hurt as vid shows. i had to really brake early to avoid lockup, but i still locked em up too often. it was only my second AX with this car. first time was last year on stock suspension with 245 hard compound yok A032R's. this year i switched to "used" mazdaspeed coilovers (soft springs), 245 17's up front and 275's in the back with used (unknown age but looked OK) v700's. with working ABS and more practice, i think i can give that GT3 a run for his money. and if not, maybe i'll get some 710's too

Love the paint on your car, and the sound from the LS1

What's left do do with your ABS?

ABS was removed when i bought the car.
So i just put all the stock brake lines in. the ABS pump and ECU are now in. all wheel sensors are in too.
but the prop valve from the pre-ABS system is still there and i'll remove that in a few days (would that trip the light?).
if i just start the car and drive her easy with very light brake effort, the light won't come on. the ABS light goes on when i hit the brakes hard. stays on while driving.

also there is still air in the system because the pedal is mushy.
so first i will remove the prop valve, then i'll rebleed and hope that fixes it.
if not, i'll test all the wheel speed sensors.

I'm guessing the ABS ECU is noticing the pre-ABS prop valve and shutting off/turning the light off.

i have no idea. i screwed it down so that rear gets full power, so i would think it acts like its not there. but not sure.
