i plan on completing my project with an fc2000 front end kit from rotary extreme. i am going for street legal with smog since i live in cali, but as soon as i get passed the ref im going with headers, dual exhaust, ls6 tb and intake manifold...to get me started. i will also be putting a set of 17" advan racing wheels on once i get them wrapped in rubber.
let me know what you think, thanks!

i have been taking my cars to aki at blacktrax for about 3 years. 2 first gen integras, a 2nd gen civic, and now my fc. they do awesome custom work! i actually live in mtn view.
yeah they are doing the swap, i was down there thursday taking some more pics. and as i was leaving i ran into aram on the norcal-ls1 forum going to their meet off mccarthy blvd. you know him? same setup im going for to the T. awesome car man gonna be great to see them side by side!
Yup, actually, he came down to Salinas last night to meet up with us. His car is more of a beast now with his heads and cam, sounds amazing too.
If you don't mind me asking, how much is Aki charging for the swap?

12k for labor and parts including swap + roll cage, suspension, and supercharger. so far i have backed down to just getting the swap done so we will see what the final cost comes to. no doubt i will at least want the suspension done though. did you do your's by yourself? what did yours turn out costing you?

I'm just getting price ideas, not even sure if I want to do an LS1 swap. Maybe after I graduate from HighSchool.
i will get back to you on the labor cost, i should be getting my final #'s together soon. i just gave them the dough up front and said "make it so number 1" maybe not the best way to approach a project but i have had them work on 2-3 other cars of mine and friends as well. so i know they are a trustworthy shop.
