Im not too sure what i can and can not do with the LSx conversion but i had the idea of swapping to an LS1 with a T-78 turbo and was wondering if that was possible and if so what can i look at for power numbers and at what psi?

hinson super cars are making a turbo production kit using a t-78, that will be able to produce around 1k fwhp not sure at what psi though, check out ls1tech for examples!

im only looking to get 600hp at the fly but i was going to use the T-78 cuz i already have one, now could i also have ac and power steering?

 

PS yes, AC no. It seems the AC pretty much gets in the way of any downpipe placement.

 

i dont have ac and power steering right now anyway, so its not that big of a concern i just really want to know if i can fit a T-78 with an LS1 (or would it be better to do a LS2?) and can i get 600hp with 15psi? just some ideas and ballpark figures are all i need. also what kind of transmission should i get? (T-56 6-speed?)
