LS1 Motor Swap Questions!

I was wondering I was considering swapping a LS1 motor in my 3g rx7, i was wondering about a few things such as.
1: Is the turbo or non turbo rx7 make any difference in things u would need for it or not.
2: How much would this swap generally run my wallet?
3: What would you have to do or need to do the swap including things you would highly recommend getting/replacing/need for it like motor mounts axles wiring harness e.t.c. or if u even need any of that, i don't know. let me know guys. thanks

P.s. Are there any other v8's that would be compatable with swapping into the rX7?

You need to do a lot more research.
1.) They never made a non-turbocharged 3rd Gen RX-7.

2.) There are quite a few people who've done this swap, and you'll find lots of info by actually LOOKING FOR IT rather than asking us to feed it to you with a spoon.
Check in the "other engine conversions" section of the rx7club: https://www.rx7club.com/other-engine-conversions-non-v-8-118/

also on www.torquecentral.com

3.) You'll definitely need a new subframe and engine mounts. There are a few shops that make them, such as Hinsons and Granny's. Google them.

well seeings how you are in the 3rd gen forumn im assuming your talking about doing this into an fd and i dont think there was a "non turbo" option on these cars, they were only produced in a twin turbo settup. as far as the ls conversion, the best bet is to modify or buy a modified subrame, youll have to fix the bump steer. take and cut everything outa the ls1 harness you wont need, and send the computer in to get the speedo recalibrateed then youll need to make a torque brace or buy one, check out www.hinsonsupercars.com they offer everything you need to do the swap. inclooding cooling, intake, subframes. etc. hope this was helpfull

Well, an LS1 swap will run you about the same as 3 rotory engines, not to mention fighting it to get everything in order and working properly.

Because that makes sense and all....don't listen to those who haven't had the experience. I'll be getting my LS2 swap going as soon as i can get rid of this wankel.

I guess "rotory" engines are about 1/3 the price of "rotary" engines
