I purchased a first gen. 1983 that already had a chevy transplant. For some reason the person put in a volvo radiator which doesn't handle the heat.
Other than an expensive (400.00) custom radiator has anyone found a common radiator from some car that will fit with some modification and handle a V8 ? ?

 

Anyone using a radiator out of something else?

 

are you looking for direct bolt in? Or something that will fit? Im running a Jegs small block radiator in my setup.

 

I put a griffin universal 26x16x3 gm rad in and it fits really well. When I get home I'll take a picture of it. I don't have any ground clearance issues or anything.
