Just dyno'd the V8 Rx7

Just thought I post today's dyno results.

Motor made 426rwhp/393ft-lb and with the wet 100shot it made 524rwhp/533ft-lbs. It's a nice difference but not night and day, if I had this much power all the time I would have to pedal it thru 2nd at least, it still hooks really well in third on the bottle.

It's got a baby cam that may get changed out when I add the 01 Z06 MAF, should net another 30-40hp on motor.

It's an FD with a late model GTO LS1 bottom end with ported heads and an emissions friendly baby cam. Running the fast90 and a holley 90 mm throttle body, 1-3/4" headers from JTR and 3-1/2" catback.

kinda of subject but I was at the dyno last week and there was a late model Z28 that Hinson was tuning. Had a bult Ls1 and 100 shot of NOS also. Numbers match yours so you seem to have it tuned correctly..

Nice #'s, also nice to see you can still fit a strut bar with the fast 90. Hinson's subframe?

I was looking at a GTO LS1. What differences does this have compared to the F-body that make it any harder? DO you still have the stock shifter?

It's a GTO bottom end but everything else including the tranny was from a 02 LS1 Z28.

Using Hinson's kit, the k-member is shimmed down an 1/8", the strut bar is shimmed up by 1/4" and I had to take some matl out of the bar to clear the FAST. Definitely less room for a strut bar with the FAST as compared to the LS6 intake mani.

Swapped in a larger n20 solenoid, 570 rwhp with 150 shot. Now I can really tell when the nitrous hits

Jesus Kyle, what kinda rear tires are you running on that thing? With the nitrous, I can't imagine you get traction on the street til triple digit speeds.......

Yoko ES100 275/40/17 ... hooks pretty good in third if I run second out before shifting, and it gets even better in fourth. Third and fourth go by quick, real quick, it's fun like never before. A 4krpm roll on in third will melt the hides on n20, my single turbo never hit this hard but would still break the rear end loose from a third gear roll on. I really like the TII clutch style diff, it pulls near straight as an arrow when it breaks loose whereas my worn out torsen would step sideways.

Right now I've got too much motor for second gear with the cooler fall air temps, during summer I can mat second on motor after running out first. I will look for some sticky rears when these tires are gone, suggestions welcome.

I want to see your car on the rollers, time to post up some results!

Could you please upload a larger pic of your dyno plot for me? Really curious to see what the numbers are through the rpm range. Thanks man.
