junkyard 350 (carb'd) mpg?

I have a line on a 4-bolt 350 with a new carb. It's 400 bucks for the set. I'd then find a t5 or t56 transmission and install it into my 7. What kind of fuel mileage can I expect with this setup? I'm aiming for the mid 20s on the highways.

Thanks

My fb with a 400 sbc with a mild cam and a T5 got 29 mpg on the highway. It also had a 9" rear diff with 3.00 gears. I recently changed to a bigger cam and 3.50 gears, and now it gets about 20 mpg.

What year was your SBC? I'm hesitant to buy a bigger engine because I'd quickly go broke in fuel costs. Is there a huge difference between the mpgs of a carb'd engine and efi?
