Why do people perform this swap? the RX-7 Is known for its unique rotary engine. V8 is just a disgrace to the chassis, and the motor its known for.

I don't know if you think by putting a LS1 in there you will have the spaceship Apollo or what but you are dilutioned and are too lazy to do something different and learn about an engine that is 3 times simpler than a piston engine.

And cars don't have souls. They are mechanical objects. It's fine with me if you want to play pretend and say that people have souls, but a car having a soul is about a thousand times more ridiculous than even that.

I "lost" my emissions....
^ lol, i love when people who do not even respect the car act as if they know whats best for it. vehicals may not have a "soul in the sence that people do, but there is a soul to it, they all have different charicteristics. thats why you can build 2 cars using the exact same tools and parts and procedures and end up with 2 entirely different animals. any one who loves their car, and by that i mean has an attachment to it, cares for it, sees it as more than a point a to point b machine, will tell you that their car has a soul or a ki. my car does, and i truly feel sorry for your car because you do not feel the same way. i think you are in the wrong forum if you think that cars cannot have souls. the majority of this forum thinks that they do in one way or the other.
and there is a vast difference between modifying your engine to produce more power and throwing it out for an entirely differnt one. the car was built for the rotary and it should stay that way.

i youse spel chek.
haha and with an ls1 i forget the exact numbers but its like 20 pounds over what a 2-rotor weighs. but the horsepower to weight ratio is improved so dramatically that it really doesnt matter.
i sold my soul to the devil...
