How to pass inspection with LS1 conversion?
Hi, I live in the Northern Virginia area and I was wondering how I can legally pass inspection with the LS1 conversion in a 93 rx7?

You need to install and retain all of the newer LS1 smog stuff (smog pump, cats, fuel pressure regulator, check engine light etc). I would look up on the DMV webstie to see what is required in your area.
do a search on there as it has been covered in great detail:

With a small cam (224/224 114LSA is about the biggest you can run and still pass), ported heads, smog legal headers, retune, you can make 400rwhp+ and be smog legal.

Hey rob whats involved in the testing? Just a sniffer or do they look for the emissions equipment under the hood? A few years ago in Virgina Beach I had the RX7with a straight pipe that was practically spitting raw fuel out the tail pipe pass. I guess it was wishful thinking it would be the same up here.
