hmm i remember the jimlab fiasco with granny's a few years back, it was interesting to watch it fold out. it makes me definatly sure im not dealing with a company that has **** for customer service, and then makes a **** product.

jimlab are you going to make one that fits an fc?

Sorry, I don't have any plans to make parts for FCs at this time.

While there is no question about Grant's previous behavior, or excuses for it, it should be noted his customer service has improved, and for FCs, there has been very little issue with his setup, and it clears the hood well.

I happened to have good luck with his FD kit, though as Jim ever so subtly mentions, it does not clear the stock hood, by about 1/2-3/4". FC setup fits great.

Agreed, but when you know for a fact that someone stole parts from you, it's awfully hard to look past the improvement in customer service for other customers...

All parts had ~13k miles on them, except where noted*

1995 engine cradle
1995 PPF
1995 aluminum transmission tunnel braces (2)
1995 manual transmission speed sender
1993 steering rack*

I'm probably forgetting something, but that's basically what Grant made off with. No explanation, no offer to return them. It's no wonder he was able to complete an FD kit, given that he had measurements from my car, my engine cradle, and one of my steering racks to finish it with.

So what was that about an improvement in customer service?

Jim,

I 100% agree, Grant f*cked you over, big time. Not a doubt in my mind. If I was in your circumstances, I would follow the same course of action you do.

He has improved though, and thus far hasn't screwed over anyone in recent time, that is of major knowledge to the forum anyway. That said, spending money with anyone with his history is a crapshoot for anyone planning to do so; anyone who is willing to lie and swindle to that level, certainly has the capability to do it again.
