Point me to thise instructions... that doesn't sound right. The only other electrics I know of in the speedometer is a reed switch that goes to the cruise control.

on granny's site I saw a brief explanation of a 2nd way, where you bypass the entire cable input on the cluster and find the wire/solder terminal on the speedo circuit board where the signal comes from the cable input and goes right to the speedo needle mechanism, I want to try this method but my electronic skills are pretty weak and I lack a bit of motivation... having no speedo doesnt bother me since the tach is hooked up.

[stalker] They're 17X10 all around with 275 in front and 285's in back [\stalker]
As far as cams go, I can say very good things about Thunder and Futral. Both are about 30 min from me. Several friends have Thunder cams in their Camaro's (which both run 11.50's or so), and another friend is having Futral build his stroked 6 liter for his truck.

OKAY, ------------------------------>granny's website
LOL... j/k.
yeah on their site they mention tapping into the Reed Switch, I dont knwo if it is a viable option to power the speedo needle or not, it doesnt sound like anyone has done it so it probably isnt possible.
lol, nice stalker tidbit there, yeah he got it right. 17x9's would work up front for me with just a 275 tire but I like the 17x10 spoke design and I got all 4 wheels as a package deal.

I love the look of your car Owen... But those front fenders look a little too wide for my taste... Anybody make smaller fender flares for the front?
