Why don't you fab up a dry sump oil system for it. I woudl think that you could do that pretty damn cheap with the fab skills you have. And if you spending $1600 on the tremec. why don't you just spend the cash and get a G-Force built T5, much better tranny IMHO.

I found a way to get the motor properly mounted behind the steering rack, low and back damn near up against the firewall the way it should be. Some sheet metal massaging was required, but it's looking sweet now. The granny kit is a workaround in my humble opinion, the motor should always be mounted as far back and low as possible; this is a sports car after all.
I briefly thought about dry sumping it, but it looks like I found an easier way. I'll put up some pics soon.
I love the way that little 5.0 looks in there though, it is as far back and as low as the stock rotary was. A strut tower bar will go right over the distributor; just about all of the engine is behind the strut towers, I can even use the stock subframe mount hardpoints.

not to be a dick or anything but you should start your own thread concerning your 5.0 swap this is a DOHC thread and your being totaly off topic.
Are you sure that is the same tranny as i am talking about? this tremec is designed for 500ft/lbs its not just any T5. and im staying below 500hp/tq so this is what im gonna stick with.

If he wanted to talk about fairies and fruit loops in here as the thread starter that's his perogative. Talking about the Northstar and T5's isn't exactly on topic either.
i have been advised by the master of the northstar (alan Jackson, owner of CHRFAB) that because of the northstars' power curve it does very poorly with most six speed trannies. It cant pull a low numerical gear (like a .5X which is in most T56 trannies and 6 spds) so he told me that he gets best results with gears like .6X and .7X final gears, such that found in most 5 spds.
You can get the T56 with all sorts of gearing options.

The tranny for the 93 F-body yhas a .62 final gear

How many dry sump setups have you seen/done that are cheap? Not too many.

Your previous actions (or lack of action) don't support that claim either. There are plenty of examples of unchecked sillines in this section.
I don't see you correcting the silliness in Jim's monstrosity thread , or reigning in Nihilanthic in the Ford 2.3 thread, so why here?

Trying to keep Jimlab's thread on topic is impossible. It was a monster thread way before I stepped in here and has a life of it's own. That being said, I'm leaving that one alone unless he specifically asks me to make a change to his thread.
Nihil uses the 13B=2.6L argument in every thread he posts. What else is new?
Sure it is. See, this program has been cancelled
What a way to start your Sunday with a thread going absolutely nowhere.
