FL First time buyer.. what do you think of this car?

https://kcclassicauto.com/1982_Mazda...5spd-1513.html

Found this LS swapped RX7. Love the FB body and reliability of LS motor.

Car was bought at an auction which I imagine is why the price is so low. Overall looks decent.

I don't know the mileage on the block but I figure for the price it may be worth the risk, especially if I can get it down to 10-11k. It has a lot of things I like. Decent interior, paint, wheels, set up looks nice. Block looks decent. Seems to run good (youtube video)

My plan was to find a shop in Kansas City to take a look at this car and give me some feedback.

Thoughts on this?

I'm really new to this!

looks pretty good. I would be suspect on the body work as it looks like a quicky paint job (never know whats under there) and there is something going on with the drivers side front fender and door alignment. I would plan on doing a lot of suspension work, up front at least. and make sure the rear end isn't sloppy/ragged.

I know how much I have in mine, and I would not let it go for less than that.

edit: 1:17 in that video you hear the front end clank when he hits a bump. It will be fast, but handle like a brick w/o suspension work.

I noticed that at 1:17.. Sounds like suspension will be rough. I expect over time to put some work into it.. especially the interior. I'm not extremely mechanical but this seemed to be like an inexpensive way to pick up a project thats got most of the heavy lifting done

Do you think there could be frame damage with the way the panels line up? Or maybe it was a salvage and he just threw some random doors/panels on?
