FC Conversion Parts
Hey,
Getting ready to purchase alot of the mounting parts and such to get my LS1 into my 7.
My main question is what parts are a must to have when looking at places like Grannies Speed Shop and Hinsons?
I know you have to have the engine mounts and tranny mounts along with a driveshaft but what other parts would you guys consider a MUST HAVE part?
Their Deluxe package is like $1,600 so just want to see if some money can be saved on that or if that is worth the buy.
Thanks,
Mike

I just picked up a kit from Granny's. I bought the engine mount kit and the solid engine mounts. The corret answer to your question is direclty relative to your ability to perform the rest of the tasks. I'm sure it is easiest to just buy the kit, and drop it in. I'm willing and able to build a radiator mount, and have a drive shaft made here in FL.
