Dyno'd the 4" CAI on my LS1 FD

Upped my CAI to 4" to feed the near 4" Z06 MAF and the car picked up another 18 rwhp, updated figures are in my sig. The prior CAI was 3-1/2" upstream of the Z06 MAF, I plan for more cubes in the future so the 4" CAI was a must. The tires were spinning on the dyno prior to peak hp so the plot is not worth posting.

Side note, it's nice to finally have A/C in the car. Just had the custom lines and drier bracket fabbed. I did all the wiring including the A/C request signal when I installed the LS1 ECU, everything works like a stock Rx7 just hit the A/C button on the dash and it gets ice cold.

How'd the line fabbing work out, did you just go to an AC shop and they measured and formed the lines? How much did it cost? I'm seriously considering doing this because I want to not sweat in my car this summer.

I had a race car and restoration shop do it so it cost alot, but I wanted it done to my specs and I also had a bunch of other stuff done while I was there. I did all of the wiring myself, and I supplied the refrigerant (special non-freon stuff), the GM pressure sender and high side line, and my condensor was already installed on the radiator.

I would say you should expect to pay 1000 unless you go to Hinson, they will probably do it for 500-600 using your drier/lines. IMHO it's worth every penny if it works when it's all done.
