Considering a 350 Swap, Whats Involved?

Well, Im just looking at my options, should anything happen to my 12A, but it would be kinda cool to look at a 350 swap(or 302)... just wondering what is all involved? and looking for suguestions too... like if I did swap, should I keep the stock tranny/rear end?

Honestly, Im a purist for the rotary powered RX7, but I do like both sides of the fences(as I own an 83 Elcamino beside my 7) I guess just looking up some general info on the V8 swaps... Thanks

btw, i have a 1st gen SA22C, and also have considered getting a 2ndGen TII thats missing the driveline...

well as far as I know you'll need to change out the tranny, driveshaft and motor mounts. The rear end might not be strong enough for the torqe either.

Check out www.grannysspeedshop.com for tons of info, all the parts you need and even directions on how to do it.

www.torquecentral.com has a V8 RX7 section that has all that plus even more, for just about any swap you can come up with.
