i have these wires hooked up.. nothing happens with the key or horn or anything. nothing is hooked to the V8 but a body ground. pix

 

got it... was a shitty ground.. ok lights work. dome light works. hazards work. dash does not work. roof does not work. wipers do not work.

 

For the dash lights make sure you have the ground in the x14 connector grounded, it normally plugs into the ECU I believe but thats probably gone.

 

I know it's been a while, and hopefully you have found the solution by now, but I did not see it posted and just went through this myself. The connector circled below is what provides power to the inside of the car. There is a connector on the battery/starter harness that this plugged into that provided 12V from the battery after the 80A main fuse. If you connect this wire to the fused side of the battery power the inside of the car will have power again!
